When you hear the word “forensics,” what is the first thing that comes to mind? Do you picture someone on stage, performing a rehearsed speech with dramatic enthusiasm? Or, do you envision a trench coat-wearing inspector on a rainy, dark street, thoughtfully reviewing a crime scene investigation? Both are correct, and both disciplines are offered to Bloomfield Hills High School students, but they could not be more different. Keep reading for more details about each opportunity.

Bowers School Farm is now open on Fridays and Saturdays beginning April 5, 2024.

Farm store hours:

Friday & Saturday 9 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Open barn hours:

Friday: 4- 8p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m.- 8p.m.

In honor of National Reading Month, elementary students at Lone Pine and Eastover Elementary Schools were treated to a lively, interactive presentation by children’s book author Baptiste Paul. 

The Michigan Department of Transportation will be rebuilding the section of I-75 Business Loop (Square Lake Road) between 1-75 and M-1 (Woodward Avenue). A public meeting will be held on April 10, 2024 at the Bloomfield Township Auditorium (4200 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Township, MI 48302) at 5:30 p.m.

Construction will begin on Monday, April 15, westbound I-75 BL (Square Lake Road) will be closed from I-75 to M-1 (Woodward Avenue) through mid-summer. Please be advised that there may be transportation delays as they navigate the construction.
